The world is small, and tonight, we test its parameters with a late-night dinner at the local joint up the road from our awesome Hotel Girasole, the most wonderful place ever, even with hot water shut off at 10 PM.

Tonight, Spencer dines with us, our train aisle mate.

And, guess from where Spencer hails?

Our new friends teaches elementary school at our neighborhood primary school, and talking with him, we might as well be eating street tacos at Soccoro’s off South Broadway and Bayaud.

But, no, we are in Cusco, sampling tequenos, deep-fried dough sticks served with salsa y guacamole–yum!–shooting the shit about traveling the globe and getting married and Denver life and more, awed by Spencer’s forays into underwater filming, he the cameraman for Isolated.TV

Then, just because we really are all only six degrees away from Kevin Bacon, FaceBook confirms that It’s A Small World After All: Spencer and I, it tells me, have two mutual friends.
