Nothing pairs better with a day at the Musée d’Orsay and walking the Louvre’s grounds than an afternoon sipping chocolat chaud à l’ancienne at Angelina, a luxurious treat for the tongue to echo the day’s earlier eye candy.

Luckily, Céline and I do well and split a pot of hot chocolate, for it pours like liquid lava, so dense and rich that a mere sip sends us into fullness for minutes, guaranteeing this feast to be of the slow and savoring kind.

Angelic, indeed.
