Les Granges via Le Rocher

It’s a nice day for a white wedding and Nathalie’s inaugural snowshoe jaunt, my first ever in the Alps. Armed with loads of ovosport, lion bars, and clementines, we march out the front door, round the corner, and up the trail to our first uber quaint hameau of the day.

It’s a stroll in the woods, this tour, and the grey weather turns nice and still, a most extraordinary backdrop to a stream side, summertime only bar, followed up by a dose of picture-perfect views on Argentiere’s rugged peaks and glacier.

And, to top it off, I spend the afternoon with my marraine.

Fantastic.
